COVID-19 GUIDANCE FOR ‘NON-ELITE’ FOOTBALL UPDATED FOLLOWING TIER 4 ANNOUNCEMENT
Further to the government’s announcement on Saturday 19 December with regards to the introduction of Tier 4 areas and the latest information on COVID-19, we have issued the following update.
Return of Outdoor Competitive Grassroots Football
The FA have issued guidelines for the return of outdoor competitive grassroots football, Friday 17 July 2020.
Latest guidance on permitted grassroots football activity during Covid-19 from 1st June
Consistent with Government advice published on Monday 1 June, the following outdoor football activity is currently permitted: I. playing football individually. For example, practice of individual skills or fitness activities; II. playing football with your family or other people living in your household; III. football training or fitness activities in groups of no more than six, keeping two metres apart at all times.
